Service Description
Pathways to balance is an open therapy group designed for adults navigating co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges. This supportive, group offers a safe, confidential environment to explore coping strategies, build resilience, and develop practical tools for recovery and emotional well-being. Participants must complete an initial screening to ensure the group is a good fit and to help tailor support to individual needs. This group is open-ended, allowing members to join as needed while benefiting from the ongoing collective experience of peers facing similar challenges.

1. Policy Purpose: To provide specialized and tailored support and psycho-education dealing with mental health, trauma, or substance use challenges in a supportive, collaborative environment. Eligibility: • Ages 5+ • Must complete an initial consultation • Must not be in active crisis or require a higher level of care Structure: • Workshops - will announce details • Not required to attend full workshop • Specialized workshops may include: creative therapy exercised, experiential activities, workshop materials/resources, active interaction, guest speakers and co-facilitation opportunities Attendance & Participation: • Regular attendance is not required • Confidentiality is mandatory • Active participation encouraged but not forced Cost: • Self-pay - dependent on workshop topic/duration • Pay as you attend/ Ask about discounted fees ⸻ 2.
