Cancellation Policy
1. Outpatient Group Therapy - Policy Purpose: To provide structured, therapeutic group counseling services for individuals dealing with mental health, trauma, or substance use challenges in a supportive, collaborative environment. Eligibility: • Ages 13+ • Must complete an individual intake session • Must not be in active crisis or require a higher level of care Structure: • Weekly sessions (60–90 minutes) • Closed groups (participants commit to a full cycle, usually 6–12 weeks) • Group topics may include: anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and social skills Attendance & Participation: • Regular attendance is required • Confidentiality is mandatory • Active participation is encouraged but not forced Cost: • Self-pay • Pre-payment required for each session cycle ⸻ 2. Parenting Support Classes Policy - Purpose: To support parents and guardians through psychoeducation, emotional support, and practical tools for managing challenging parenting experiences. Eligibility: • Parents, guardians, or caregivers of children and teens • Must attend an orientation session Structure: • Weekly 75-minute classes for 8–12 weeks • Evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, parenting through trauma) • Optional one-on-one support coaching Topics May Include: • Parenting adolescents • Navigating grief/loss as a parent • Managing screen time and social media • Communication and conflict resolution Cost: • Self-pay ⸻ 3. First Responder Family Support Policy- Purpose: To offer mental health and support services tailored to spouses, children, and families of firefighters, law enforcement, EMTs, and dispatchers. Eligibility: • Family members of active or retired first responders • Must complete an initial consultation Structure: • Monthly support groups or drop-in classes • Individual family counseling also available • Trauma-informed, culturally competent clinicians Topics May Include: • PTSD education and coping tools • Balancing solo parenting and shift work stress • Communication and relational strain Confidentiality & Safety: • HIPAA-compliant practices • Anonymous registration available for high-profile clients
